LESSON 110

The Acoustic Reflex Decay Test

The acoustic reflex decay test measures whether the reflex is maintained during a 10 second continuous tone presented 10 dB above the reflex threshold. In this lesson we use an example to look at how the test is done, the half-life, what a positive result means and how it relates to retrocochlear pathology.
